so i herd sum things...

Another Robert Pattinson quote that totally sums up how I feel about Twilight (just started Eclipse, BTW).

"I was convinced... that Stephanie was convinced... that she was Bella... and it was like a book that wasn't supposed to be published. And you're reading like, her sort of sexual fantasy. ... I was like, This woman is mad. She's completely mad, and she's in love with her own fictional creation. And sometimes you'd like feel uncomfortable reading this thing. ... It's kind of... like a sick pleasure."

However, I would like to acknowledge that he appears slightly drunk in the vid.

Err, I'm going to pretend I didn't just fail my blog challenge... I lacked Internet access most of the weekend... due to rents. >:[

Sunday I got a haircut. For the first time in about nine months, I estimated. It doesn't look much shorter, but it feels SOOOO much better. And I can run my fingers through my hair without a huge tangle of blonde shed falling out. Oh, and I can wear it down again. Hooray!!

"I stopped reading [the book] when it said, 'Even in the rain he looked like he was in an underwear commercial.'" – Twilight star Robert Pattinson, on why he initially thought he wasn't right for film's romantic lead, to EW.

Cartman WTF!?
Apparently the last entry I made was the 300th. Jesus Christ.

I am currently transposing O Magnum Mysterium for solo purposes at my church orchestra's Christmas concert... It is beautiful but not what I'm used to from O Magnum. :/

GODDAMNIT SWAN STFU!
I miss jazz band... I went to an MCC concert today and felt the call of the 7th chords...

Also, my very first private instructor was the lead trombone in the Mesa Jazz Orchestra. I didn't get to talk to him, but I hardly recognized him in the first place.

... hahaha. Posting every day = stupidly short posts.

I voted today. But barely. Hahaha. I ended up voting for a guy I joked about voting for a long ago. Kind of ironic. Elections are a different experience when you know you're gonna lose! Sounds a lot like my season in drum corps... sob...

HAMMER TIME!
Today I got to school at 9:30, and not having a class until 1, I pretty much walked the area, which was a little scary. After a little mall time, I ended up walking down BASELINE. Oh shit. But I managed to not get shot. And get a root beer float from A&W. Yeaahhh!

Had band. I love the visuals. They are so much fun, despite the fact that they rip off BD, Cavvie and Cadet moves. Oh, and they're kind of stupid. Ah well. What do you expect from college marching band?

Edit to add: Also, this made me smile today. And it is party-neutral. :)

I went driving in circles around the Altadena parking lot today. I totally tuned out after one loop. I guess that means I'm good at it... or I'm going to kill myself that way... meh.

Today is Sunday. NOTHING INTERESTING HAPPENS ON SUNDAYS.
